Videotape of murder released

The Nye County Sheriff's Office is still seeking leads to the whereabouts of Jaime Albarran, who is wanted for murder and armed robbery. Sheriff Tony DeMeo is offering a $3,000 reward for information leading to an arrest. He is described as an Hispanic male, 5'6" tall, weighing 170 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. He is considered armed and dangerous. Albarran was 22 when he walked into the DC Travel Center convenience store on Highway 160 at Mesquite Avenue and shot the 54-year-old clerk to death. The surveillance video of the murder has been released by the Nye County Sheriff's Office and can be viewed on You Tube, facebook and myspace, as well as Twitter. In it, the suspect is seen entering the store and approaching the counter and the clerk. Video of the actual shooting was excised. The tape shows Albarran leaving the store and the victim lying on the floor. Anyone with information as to Albarran's whereabouts is asked to contact the Sheriff's Office or call 911.
