Emotions vivid at health care forum
Five empty seats in the front of the room were adorned with photos marking the absence of members of the Nevada congressional delegation at a town hall meeting on health care. The room was crowded with 175 people Sunday at the Pahrump Nugget Convention Center.

BEATTY -- With eight seniors on its 25-player roster, the Beatty High School football team will launch its 2009 season Friday (3 p.m.) at Spring Mountain, in a Southern Nevada Class A League battle.
