Auto racing returns to the Pahrump Valley Speedway Nov. 7, with a new starting time -- 3 p.m.

There will be races in eight classes on the quarter-mile dirt oval: IMCA modifieds, mini stocks, street stocks, bombers, pro stocks, coupes, Dwarf cars and mini-modifieds. Races on Nov. 21 and Dec. 5 will also start at 3 p.m.

Last Saturday's winners were Robert Smotherman, modifieds; Johnathan Burch, mini-mods; Donny Berger, coupes; Jim Wulfenstein, street stocks; Jabez Broadhead, mini stocks and Anthony Finley, bombers.

In the mini-mod main, Bubba Ray was second, with Cassandra Martin and Eric Slusher completing the field.

Chasing Berger to the checkered flag were Frank Bridwell, Terri Hiser, Richard Grim and Justin Berger.

Wulfenstein beat Greg Prince across the finish line. Also in pursuit were Mike Suber, Dale Daffern, Pete Wallace, Ron moffatt, Cody Meads and Jake Snowden.

Jabez outraced Anthony Broadhead to the checkered flag, with Sue Smotherman, Keith Young, John Burch, Rick Gast, Austin Sanders and Marvin Hatton also competing.

In the bomber main, Finley won, with Billy Grasser, Dale Walters, Barbara West and Dan Nelson also starting.

Heat winners were Smotherman, Slusher, Berger, Meads, Wulfenstein, Jabez Broadhead, Sue Smotherman and Grasser.

The points leaders through Oct. 24 are:
