Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of Nov. 2 -- Nov. 6:

Menu -- soup and salad bar, 2 percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday -- herb-baked chicken, mashed potatoes, glazed carrots, vanilla pudding;

Tuesday -- baked ziti with Italian sausage, Sicilian vegetables, brownies;

Wednesday -- chicken enchiladas, refried beans, mexicorn, peach cobbler;

Thursday -- shepherd's pie, steamed broccoli, fruit cup;

Friday -- baked tilapia, brown rice, large mixed veggies, chocolate cake.

Activities

Monday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; poker, noon; beading class, 12:30 p.m.;

Tuesday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; poker, noon; craft class, 1 p.m.; bridge class, 1 p.m.; Shadow Mountain Players, 7 p.m.;

Wednesday -- cloggers, 9 a.m.; pinochle, 1 p.m.; Walmart shopping, 9:30 a.m.; Senior Dimensions, 1 p.m.;

Thursday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.;

Friday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; poker, noon; bridge, 1 p.m.; beading hearts, 1 p.m.

Amargosa Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Nov. 2 -- Nov. 6. Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served from 4-5:30 p.m.

Monday -- turkey pot pie, mixed green salad, fat-free creamy Italian dressing, seven-grain bread, peach jam, baked apple;

Tuesday -- Diabetic friendly menu: pork chops in creamy garlic sauce, zucchini, mandarin orange, salad bar;

Wednesday -- tuna noodle casserole, herb vegetable medley, sliced tomatoes, low-sodium, fat-free Italian dressing, cracked wheat bread, apple butter, oatmeal date bar;

Thursday -- baked meat loaf, mashed potatoes, steamed spinach, lettuce and tomato salad, 100 percent whole wheat bread, peach butter, chantilly fruit cup;

Friday -- chicken and dumplings, green peas, carrot and raisin salad, whole wheat, low-sodium crackers, fruit cocktail.
