DA's Report

The following information was provided by Nye County District Attorney Bob Beckett. All crimes are alleged and all defendants are presumed innocent.

The following is a list of charges brought against juveniles:

Conspiracy to commit possession of dangerous drug, graffiti or defacing property, burglary and harassment.

Offense involving stolen property, possession of drug paraphernalia, runaway, conspiracy to commit trafficking in a Schedule I controlled substance and obstructing a public officer.

The following are charges filed by the DA's office against adults.

* Matthew Lars Ambrosen and Marsha Brooker were charged with petit larceny.

* Harley Zane Kulkin was charged with the following offenses occurring on Sept. 16, 2008: two counts of battery on an officer, resisting public officer, breach of peace and disturbing meeting.

* Timothy Lanning was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol with accident.

* Sylvester Jess Linn was charged with child abuse and neglect.

* Fernie Matthew Lucero was charged with domestic battery.

* Eric Pittman was charged with offense involving stolen property.

* Shann Shalanda Prince was charged with resisting public officer.

* Angela Marie Reo was charged with child abuse and neglect.

* Alyse Dawn Rodriguez was charged with battery.

* Andrew Rush was charged with possession of a controlled substance.

* Adolfo Sandoval was charged with two counts of domestic battery.

* Bryan Lynn Schulte was charged with uttering a forged instrument.

* Robert Francis Taber Jr., was charged with grand larceny and an offense involving stolen property.

* Summer Tuenge was charged with burglary.

* Larry W. Vanetten was charged with grand larceny.

* Fulton Williams Jr., was charged with a violation of court order.

* James Bradley was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.

* Jeremy Daniel Carter was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.

* Boyd Darnell was charged with battery.

* Gene Hamilton Fisher was charged with an offense involving stolen property and harassment.

* Exico Douglas Goodlow was charged with unlawful use of a controlled substance.

* Diane Elizabeth Hammack was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.

* Raymond Hancock was charged with battery.

* Richard Alexander Hancock was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol with accident, attempted sexual assault, battery with intent to commit sexual assault and domestic battery.

* Flozel Ellis Hays Jr., was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol-second offense.

* Christina Marie Hintz was charged with basic speed.

* Amy B. Illum was charged with battery.

* Cameron Tyler Jones was charged with possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription.

* Ismael Lambaren Lopez was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.

* Jose Lopez Lopez was charged with indecent or obscene exposure.

* Jessica McFadden was charged with battery and injury to other property.

* Rhonda Jean Ordonez was charged with petit larceny.

* Juan Ramon Quezada was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, having open container of alcoholic beverage within passenger area of a motor vehicle while on highway, drinking alcoholic beverage while driving motor vehicle and car seat required.

* Filemon Trejo-Rojas was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol-fourth or subsequent offense.

* Melissa Dawn Williams was charged with possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of a controlled substance.

The following are cases heard in Pahrump Justice Court or bench trials and the results.

* John Dewey Lang, charged with driving under the influence of alcohol-second offense and driving without a valid driver's license, does not yet have a date for a preliminary arraignment.

* Aaron Joseph Signoretti, charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and security of payment for tort liabilities, was found guilty and was fined a total of $577. There is to be a status check Feb. 25, 2010, at 1:30 p.m.

* Gregory Lewis Beavers, charged with battery, was found guilty and sentenced to six months in Nye County Detention Center.

* Linda Hall, charged with unlawful trespass upon land and violation of a temporary protection order, has a hearing set for Dec. 2 at 9 a.m.

* Benjamin Roy Shideler, charged with fraudulent use of a credit card and violation of a temporary protective order, has a preliminary hearing set for March 4, 2010, at 9 a.m.

* Wendy Lynne Stelle and Susan Rochelle Toomer, both charged with basic speed, pled to the charge and were each fined $67.

* Stephen Edward Warholic, charged with basic speed, failed to appear and a show cause hearing is set for Oct. 26 at 1:30 p.m.

* Christopher Gregory Marshall, charged with possession of marijuana-less than one ounce, has a status hearing set for April 5, 2010, at 1:30 p.m.

* Michael Murphy, charged with violation of a temporary protective order, has a hearing set for Jan. 4, 2010, at 1:30 p.m.

* Benjamin Robles, charged with assault with a deadly weapon, failed to appear and a show cause was issued.

* Michael Jeffrey Niotta, charged with unlawful use of a controlled substance, failed to appear.

* Ronald James Tennant, charged with carrying a concealed weapon, was bound over to district court. The trial is set for Nov. 17, at 10 a.m.

* Joseph John Mulcahey, charged with attempted murder, battery with the use of a deadly weapon causing substantial bodily harm, three counts of assault with use of a deadly weapon, battery first offense (strangulation) and unlawful possession, manufacture or disposition of incendiary device, was bound over to district court. His arraignment is set for Oct. 19.

The following cases were tried in district court.

* Albert W. Blankenship, charged with two counts of issuing checks without sufficient funds, was found guilty and will be sentenced Dec. 7 at 9 a.m.

* James Hunt Burress, charged with grand larceny, burglary, conspiracy to commit grand larceny and conspiracy to commit burglary, failed to appear. A bench warrant was issued.

* Daniel Patrick Core, charged with kidnapping, burglary, home invasion and child abuse and neglect, has a trial set for Oct. 19 at 9 a.m.

* Jeffrey Daniel Gagnon, charged with two counts of robbery, has a trial set for Nov. 3-5, at 9 a.m.

* Anthony Rudy Gilliana, charged with battery upon a peace officer, has a trial date set for May 18-21, 2010, at 9 a.m.

* Charles Lewis Shane, charged with possession of a controlled substance, was placed on probation for three years with special conditions.

* Christopher McDougal, charged with burglary, grand larceny and conspiracy to commit grand larceny was remanded to the Department of Corrections regimental discipline program.

* Xavier Michael McMurtry, charged with unlawful use of a controlled substance, had the case continued to Oct. 19 at 9 a.m.

* Jesse James Olson, charged with conspiracy to commit coercion, was sentenced to one year in the Nye County Detention Center-suspended and placed on three years probation with special conditions.

* Debra Gene Parks, charged with forgery, has a hearing set for Nov. 16.

* Kiwann Deontave Pearson, charged with home invasion with use of a deadly weapon, injuring or tampering with a motor vehicle, injury to other property, burglary and conspiracy to commit burglary, entered a plea of not guilty and will be tried May 18-21, 2010, at 9 a.m.

* Hermes Romero, charged with battery with the use of a deadly weapon causing substantial bodily harm, returned fro Lakes Crossing center and his case is remanded back to Pahrump Justice Court.

* Katrina A. Scholtka, charged with possession of a controlled substance, failed to appear and a bench warrant was issued.

* Kyle Brenton Shelton, charged with unlawful use of a controlled substance, has a hearing set for Oct. 19, at 2 p.m.

* Jerry Dewayne Shepherd, charged with trafficking in a controlled substance, has a hearing set for Oct. 19.

* Kraig Smith, charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and robbery use of a deadly weapon, was sentenced to 12 to 30 months in the Nevada Department of Corrections consecutive to his current sentence.

* Michael Stumne, charged with non-support of children, has a hearing set for Nov. 19.
