PACE winners to DisneylandPVT
Nye County Sheriff Tony DeMeo announced the Prevent All Crashes Everyday (PACE) campaign is accepting submissions for this year's competition, which encourages teenagers to develop safe driving messages for their peers in whatever format they choose. Teams can be four or five students. The hitch is they must have their driver's permit by the driving date of March 5, 2010. Teams may be awarded with the production of their campaigns and "Disney Dollars" to use on the Disneyland trip. Projects are due by 5 p.m. March 5, 2010. Call Paula Cooper, 751-4255, or Dep. Dugan, 209-6095, for more information. Last year's winning campaigns came from Pahrump Valley High School, Arbor View High School CSN and Las Vegas Academy. |
