Senior Christmas trip Pahrump Senior Center will host a trip to Laughlin Dec. 8, 9 and 10. The bus will depart Wulfy's parking lot at noon Dec. 8 with a sack lunch provided. The group will spend Tuesday and Wednesday nights at the Edgewater Hotel, which will include one buffet. Thursday, the bus will head to Railroad Pass for a four-hour layover, which includes a complimentary buffet. Then it's on to Sunset Park and Henderson to tour the Christmas light displays. The group arrives back in Pahrump around 8 p.m. Thursday evening. Tickets ate $65 per person and reservations must be made and paid by Dec. 3. Call Don. 751-6860 for more information. Pahrump Gunfighters Pahrump Gunfighters will be performing western skits and reenactments at 1 p.m., Nov. 29 at Dusty Flats, 100 W. Stagecoach Road. Admission is free. Call 751-3458 for more information. Art reception The traveling show presented by PAC and the Nevada Arts Council is open at the Courthouse Gallery. The artist's reception will be from 1 to 3 p.m., Dec. 4. Refreshments will be served. The show, "Stop the Car Dad!" is a photographers journey along Nevada highways. Festival of Trees Gala The Festival of Trees will culminate in the gala event scheduled to begin at 6 p.m., Dec. 5 in the Pahrump Nugget Events Center. There will be cocktails and a silent auction. Dinner will begin at 7 p.m. The Boltons will provide live entertainment. Tickets are $100 per person. Call 751-5601 for more information. Silver Tappers benefit Nevada Silver Tappers will perform the 19th annual holiday benefit show at 3 or 9 p.m., Dec. 6 in the Saddle West Showroom. Holiday Lights Christmas Parade The third annual Holiday Lights Christmas Parade is scheduled for 5 p.m., Dec. 12 around the Calvada Eye. Cars will line-up at 4 p.m. at Honeysuckle Park. RVs, vans, cars, trucks and other licensed vehicles are welcome to light them up and join the parade. Entry fees are $20 or $10 with a new, unwrapped toy for the Toys For Tots program. Car clubs and large group entries will be asked to donate one toy per vehicle. No political messages. Call 537-2562 for more information. Book Signing Sue McClish Melton, author of, "Facts... There will be fun indoors and activies outdoors, visits with Santa, a carnival, two choirs, two plays, performances by local children and it benefits a great cause. Santa at Northfield Ranch Northfield Ranch, Therapy with Animals will host Santa's visit for special needs individuals from 5 to 7 p.m. Dec. 12, at the ranch, 3140 N.
