Tournaments

The Pahrump Valley Tournament Bowling Club will hold a snakebite-no tap 10-pin event Saturday, at the Nugget.

Squad times are 12:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. for the tournament, open to active PVTBC members only. Membership dues can be paid with the entry fee.

The tournament is sponsored by WR Sporting LLC and Audrey and Richard Alderman.

* The Nugget is hosting an adult-youth tournament Nov. 28, starting at noon in the casino's bowling center.

The directors are Jacqui Cisco (751-6525) and Lorie Hardwell (751-6514).

It is a no-tap doubles event, which will cost $10 per person. Entry deadline is Nov. 25. Entry blanks are available at the bowling center.

* The Pahrump Valley 500 Club's snake bite singles tournament was won by Sis Fronk with a 796.

First place in the groupies was taken by Bill Downs with 796. The 50-50 was won by Mary Ann Suver.

The club's next tournament is Dec. 12; it will be singles 9-pin no-tap. The annual Christmas buffet will be held between sessions. The entry form will be available next week.

Big games

Dale Bystedt had a 300 perfect game and a 763 scratch series, bowling in the Pahrump Fours League at the Nugget ... Nocky Roach, in the Thursday Night Mixed League, had a 299 game in a 733 series.
