SAN ANTONIO -- Air Force Airman Faith S. Richards graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

She is the daughter of Ralph Richards of Pahrump and niece of Johnnie Parks of Las Vegas.

Richards is a 2006 graduate of Fouke High School.
