Keith and Ann Plouck

Keith and Ann Plouck will be celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary next Tuesday at the Saddle West Hotel and Casino.

The Ploucks are both natives of Toledo, Ohio. They met during World War II. Ann Plouck, 85, was a singer with a group called Ann and the Sophisticats, that performed with big bands in the Midwest. Keith Plouck, 88, flew 79 missions in Europe in World War II and was awarded two purple hearts and a silver star; he later went to work for TWA.

The Ploucks moved to Pahrump in 1996. Keith Plouck still bowls twice each week. Ann Plouck recently retired from the Nevada Silver Tappers after 10 wonderful years.
