DA's Report

The following information was provided by Nye County District Attorney Bob Beckett. All crimes are alleged and all defendants are presumed innocent.

The following are charges filed by the DA's office against adults.

* Michael Augustine was charged with battery upon a peace officer.

* Sherill Lee Benner, Jennifer Louise Chumbley and Charles Edward Haynes were charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.

* Toni Jo Boner and Lonnie Neal Brush were charged with an offense involving stolen property.

* Keith Carter was charged with a violation of court order.

* John Darwin Chidester, Matthew Brian Conner, Tyrone Donnell Grant, Michael Spahitz and Anthony Hampton were charged with battery.

* Taryn Leann Crawford was charged with two counts of embezzlement.

* L.C. Richard Darden Jr. was charged with unlawful use of a controlled substance.

* Kurk Alvin Dorman was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, reckless driving and stop required on signal of peace officer.

* Armando Flores Duran Jr. was charged with trafficking in a Schedule I controlled substance.

* Danny Gerard Ellison was charged with unlawful use of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, three counts of possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription, driving under the influence of alcohol or controlled substance, possession of less than one ounce of marijuana-first offense, possession of drug paraphernalia and basic speed.

* Jeffrey Allen Gallant was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of drugs, possession of less than one ounce of marijuana-first offense, security of payment for tort liabilities required, basic speed, possession of dangerous drug without a prescription, unlawful use of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a controlled substance-first offense.

* Steven Owen Hill was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell and habitual criminal.

* Rupert H. Hodnett was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol-second offense with accident.

* James Edward Hollis was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving without a valid license, having open container of alcoholic beverage within passenger area of motor vehicle while on highway, drinking alcoholic beverage while driving a motor vehicle and certain unlawful acts (no registration).

* Timothy Hoskins was charged with injury to other property and petit larceny.

* Michael Mario Jennex was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or controlled substance and driving on highway having multiple marked lanes for traffic.

* Sheryl Kelehar was charged with provoking assault.

* Jeffrey Kolb was charged with theft of services, indecent or obscene exposure, obtain controlled substance with false documents, burglary and attempt to obtain controlled substance.

* Richard Mandarino was charged with trafficking in a Schedule I controlled substance.

* Alan L. Meland was charged with ex-felon possession of firearm(s).

* Bradley K. Patrick was charged with two counts of domestic battery.

* Anthony Peter Provenza was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.

* Christopher Lee Scholtka was charged with violating a temporary or extended order.

* Jennifer Ruthmarie Shelbrick and Lorna Jean Shellenberger were charged with forgery, uttering a forged instrument and obtaining money under false pretenses.

* David Charles Strickler was charged with attempted battery, assault, harassment and injury to other property.

* Jeffrey Alan Winchester was charged with possession of a controlled substance and driving under the influence of alcohol.

* Steven Worley was charged with two counts issuing checks without sufficient funds.

The following were cases heard in Pahrump Justice Court.

* Crystal Yvonne Austin, charged with driving under the influence of alcohol-fourth and resisting a public officer, has a preliminary hearing set for June 2, 2010.

* Lawanna Denise Conklin, charged with domestic battery-second, was sentenced to 10 days in jail and 100 hours of community service.

* Sabrina Durkee, charged with grand larceny and possession of a controlled substance, has a preliminary hearing set for Jan. 14, 2010.

* Gary Lamont Jackson, charged with robbery with use of a deadly weapon and burglary, has a preliminary hearing set for Dec. 3.

* Marx James Mace, charged with burglary and robbery with use of a deadly weapon, had a preliminary hearing set for Nov. 3.

* Adrian Ringo, charged with robbery, has a preliminary hearing set for Dec. 3.

* Henry Roger Leach, charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, has a a preliminary hearing set for Feb. 4, 2010.

* Larry Lee Meyer, charged with battery, is set for a bench trial Jan. 18, 2010.

* John Anthony Mullins, charged with invasion of the home, burglary and grand larceny, has a preliminary hearing set for March 4, 2010.

* Mark Edward Musall, charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, has a preliminary hearing set for today.

* Justin Robison, charged with battery upon a peace officer, is set for a preliminary hearing today.

* Brannon Stacy, charged with battery, is set for a bench trial Jan. 18, 2010.

The following is record of a bench trial in Pahrump Justice Court.

* Ryan O. Henderson, charged with four violations of a temporary or extended order, was found guilty.

The following cases were tried in Pahrump Justice court.

* Stephen James Alarid, charged with battery with use of a deadly weapon and domestic batter is set for trial Jan. 21, 2010.

* Chance Carden, charged with battery with intent to commit sexual assault and battery with the use of a deadly weapon, had a bench warrant issued.

* Vincent Matthew Czechorosky, charged with assault upon an officer with a deadly weapon, two counts of robbery with a deadly weapon, two counts of burglary, stop required on signal of peace officer and assault with a deadly weapon will be arraigned in district court Nov. 17.

* Joseph Brian Diaz, charged with a probation violation, was sent to Nevada Department of Corrections program of Regimental Discipline.

* Robert Marr, charged with a probation violation, had his probation extended by one year.

* Jason Michael Nelson, charged with attempted theft, had his bail motion denied.

* Gilbert Ortiz, charged with driving under the influence of alcohol with a prior DUI conviction, has a trail set for Dec. 1-2.

* Michael Thomas Peterson, charged with conspiracy to commit assault with a deadly weapon, will be sentenced Dec. 21.

* Ralph Rodriguez, charged with a probation violation, was set to boot camp.

* Shelly Doreen Rundell, charged with conspiracy to commit embezzlement, will be sentenced Dec. 21.

* Robert Rupp, charged with uttering a forged instrument, will be sentenced Dec. 21.

* Katrina Scholtka, charged with a probation violation, had her probation reinstated.

* Norman Leroy Wadley, charged with four counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, has a trial set for Feb. 2-3, 2010.
