Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of Nov. 9 -- Nov. 13:

Menu -- soup and salad bar, 2 percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday -- smothered chicken, potatoes au gratin, green beans, chocolate pudding;

Tuesday -- baked meatloaf, mashed potatoes, small mixed veggies, pineapple cake;

Wednesday -- ham and cheese omelettes, potatoes O'Brien, spiced applesauce;

Thursday -- spaghetti with meatballs, Sicilian veggies, spiced pear crisp;

Friday -- hot tuna melt sandwich, peas and carrots, banana pudding.

Activities

Monday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; poker, noon; beading class, 12:30 p.m.; hair cuts, 9 a.m.;

Tuesday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; poker, noon; craft class, 1 p.m.; bridge class, 1 p.m.; Shadow Mountain Players, 7 p.m.;

Wednesday -- cloggers, 9 a.m.; pinochle, 1 p.m.; Walmart shopping, 9:30 a.m.; Senior Dimensions, 1 p.m.; Humana, 10 a.m.; Nevada Legal Aid, 9 a.m.;

Thursday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.;

Friday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; poker, noon; bridge, 1 p.m.; beading hearts, 1 p.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Nov. 9 -- Nov. 13. Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served from 4-5:30 p.m.

Monday -- lemon and herb fish, parsley buttered new potatoes, seasoned zucchini, dinner rolls, applesauce, salad bar;

Tuesday -- spinach lasagna, garlic bread, salad bar, applesauce, peanut butter cookie;

Wednesday -- Dixieland shortcake, black-eyed peas, garden salad, fat-free creamy Italian dressing, banana;

Thursday -- herb baked chicken, baked potato, fat-free sour cream and chives, herb vegetable medley, 100 percent whole wheat bread, peach butter, fresh apple;

Friday -- Diabetic-friendly menu: fiesta beef enchiladas, zucchini delight, salad bar, apricots, bread pudding snacks.
