At Club MVC

World Series of Poker qualifying tournaments continue at Club MVC in the Mountain View Casino.

Players pay a $70 entry fee, for which they are credited with $5,000 in chips. Complete rules are available at Club MVC. Players can pre-register for tournaments.

Six women have now qualified for a final table May 27, with a seat in a World Series of Poker tournament June 7 at stake.

The six are Darcie Eilert, Debbie Dellett, Melissa Williams, Jackie Polansky, Bev Williams and Bonita Murray.

A qualifier was played Thursday, with the last in the series at 11 a.m. Saturday.

The ladies final Wednesday will start at 7 p.m.

Eight men have qualified for the first men's final table (1 p.m., May 30). They are Andy Franzen, Art Page, Jay Sanders, John Chickene, Mike Bartley, Mike Brown, Larry Weese and Don McDermott.

The last qualifier in this series is at 7 p.m. today.

The final table is May 30 (1 p.m.), with the winner qualifying for WSOP Event 24 June 11.

The six are Ray Johnson, Carl Zarcone, Harry Dellett, Ray Hazelwood, Andy Guites and Art Page.

Remaining preliminaries are Saturday (4 p.m.) and Tuesday (7 p.m.).

The May 30 (7 p.m.) winner goes to WSOP Event 28 June 13.
