Gerald Kelly Fleetwood Gerald Kelly Fleetwood passed away May 10, 2009, in Pahrump. He was born Dec. 4, 1959, in California. Jerry was the meaning of a true soldier. The church called him "a walking miracle." He had many health problems throughout his life and came close to death many times. He touched people's lives, even from a distance, and he will be remembered as his name will live on. "Jerry, we love you dearly. No more pain will you suffer. Welcome home with Christ." Jerry is survived by his wife Karen; sons Thomas, Brandon and Anthony; parents John and Janet Fleetwood; sisters Lori Watt, Pam Fleetwood and Anale Wright; brother Phil Fleetwood and many members of his church family. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. May 16 at First Southern Baptist Church, Highway 160 and Fehrs Way. (05/10/2009) ![]() Ed Evans Ed Evans, 81, passed away May 8, 2009, at his home. He was born Sept. 10, 1927, in Des Moines, Iowa, and was a five year resident of Pahrump, coming from Iowa. He was a retired salesman, a member of the Masons and of the Protestant faith. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II. His wife, Jacqui, of Pahrump; daughter LuAnna and son Ed of Des Moines; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren survive him. He was preceded in death by his parents Ed and Wilma, a daughter Virgean, a son Angel and a granddaughter Margot. Services will be held at 10 a.m., May 20 at the Masonic Lodge. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to Nathan Adelson Hospice. (05/08/2009) ![]() Jean Pease Jean Pease, 80, passed away May 9, 2009, in Henderson. She was born Nov. 15, 1928, in McKinney, Texas, and was a resident of Pahrump for 14 years, having come from California. She was a Mormon and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She owned a small tailoring business and was self-employed. Her granddaughter Brittani (Leonard) Pinson of California; grandsons Raymond (Estrella) Buchanan of California and Devin (Lucinda) Buchanan of Nevada and nine great-grandchildren survive her. She was preceded in death by her parents and two children. The viewing will be at 9 a.m., and the service at 10 a.m., May 16 at the LDS church. Internment will follow at Grandview Cemetery. (05/09/2009) Robert Reagle Robert Reagle, 92, passed away April 19, 2009, in Amargosa Valley. He was born Feb. 24, 1917, in Stevensville, Mont., and was a resident of Amargosa Valley for 20 years, having come from Las Vegas. He was a master farmer. His wife, Marie Reagle of Amargosa Valley; brothers Leonard and Benjamin Reagle of Salmon, Idaho; sons Ronald Reagle of Houston, Texas, and Larry Reagle of Louisville, Idaho; daughter Glenda Martin-Brown of Las Vegas; 18 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren survive him. He was preceded in death by his son, Bill Reagle. Services are private. (04/19/2009) |
