All fall down

GINA B. GOOD / PVT
A strong but invisible whirlwind kicked up trouble Saturday morning at the Health Fair held in the small parking lot in front of Desert View Hospital. Canopied booths and large tents used by service organizations toppled one after another as if in a slow motion game of dominos as the whirlwind moved across the lot. Hundreds of pieces of literature flew high into the sky, never to be seen again. Almost every booth fell over. Fire Chief Scott Lewis, who was in attendance with his crew of EMTs, went from booth to booth assuring no one was injured. Afterwards, people chuckled and laughed as they reset their tent flies, wondering about the strange twister.
