The performers in Donna Lamm's 30th anniversary dance recital, held last Thursday and Friday evenings, couldn't have asked for a more enthusiastic audience.
Moms and dads were sitting on the edge of their seats videotaping their kids and their neighbor's children performing in a diverse program featuring ballet, tap, clogging, kung fu moves, jazz and flowing forms from India.
All ages were represented. Adults clogging to rock and roll from the '50's brought the house down as did a bashful ballerina running off stage into the arms of her mommy.
There were enough sequins and tulle on stage to costume a Broadway spectacular -- but not even Broadway could compete with the broad smiles and enjoyment of those attending Lamm's annual recital.
