Correction, 5/13/09
In the Sheriff's Report May 8, incorrect information was published about Melinda Patton, 38, of Tampa, Fla.
She was charged only with two counts of involuntary manslaughter.

The following information was provided by the Nye County Sheriff's Office. All crimes are alleged and all defendants are presumed innocent:

At Pahrump:

* Richard Murphy, 23, of Pahrump, was booked into Pahrump jail April 29 charged with DUI-alcohol and reckless driving. Bail was set at $5,632. He was released April 30 on his own recognizance per Judge Jasperson after a court date was set.

* Stephen Labrum, 40, of Pahrump, was booked into Pahrump jail April 29 on a bench warrant for burglary and home invasion. Bail was set at $6,000.

* Utah Head, 46, of Pahrump, was booked into Pahrump jail April 29 on charges of extortion, possess or receive stolen property, burglary and conspiracy to commit a crime. Bail was set at $40,000. He was released April 30 on his own recognizance per Judge Brisebill after a court date was set and a promise to appear was signed.

* Audrey Seampairi, 24, of Pahrump, was booked into Pahrump jail April 30 on a domestic battery charge. Bail was set at $3,000.

* Nikita Wright, 22, of Pahrump, was booked into Pahrump jail April 30 on a Pahrump Justice Court warrant for failure to appear. Bail was set at $3,000.

* Amy Illum, 29, of Pahrump, was booked into Pahrump jail May 4 on a second charge of domestic violence. Bail was set at $5,000.

* Lonnie Hammock, 23, of Pahrump, was booked into Pahrump jail May 4 on a domestic violence charge. Bail was set at $3,000.

* Brandi Raymond, 26, of Las Vegas, was booked into Pahrump jail May 4 sentenced by 5th Judicial Court to the Nevada Department of Corrections, one to four years.

* John Kempton, 62, of Pahrump, was booked into Pahrump jail May 5 charged with three counts of sexual assault with a child under age 14 and sexual assault. Bail was set at $200,000.

* Melinda Patton, 38, of Tampa, Fla., was booked into Pahrump jail May 5 sentenced to one year in the county jail for two charges of involuntary manslaughter.

* Amber Arsenault, 21, of Las Vegas, was booked into Pahrump jail May 5 sentenced to 40 to 100 months for two charges of DUI with death.

* Oscar Chess, 22, of Pahrump, was booked into Pahrump jail May 5 sentenced to boot camp by 5th Judicial District Court.

* Sandra Maddera, 47, of Pahrump, was booked into Pahrump jail April 5 on charges of burglary and battery with harassment. Bail was set at $7,500.
