Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of May 11 -- May 15:

Menu -- soup and salad bar, 2 percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday -- eggplant parmesan, Sicilian vegetables, garlic bread, pineapple cake;

Tuesday -- baked, barbecued chicken, home fries, peas and carrots, fruit cup;

Wednesday -- beef stew and noodles, mixed veggies, fruit cup;

Thursday -- chicken and potato casserole, corn, chocolate pudding;

Friday -- baked tilapia, mashed potatoes and gravy, steamed veggies.

Activities

Monday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; poker club, noon; beading club, 12:30 p.m.; bridge, 1 p.m.; hair cuts, 9 a.m.

Tuesday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; poker, noon; craft class, 1 p.m.; bridge class, 1 p.m.

Wednesday -- cloggers, 9 a.m.; pinochle, 1 p.m.; Walmart shopping, 9:30 a.m.; painting class, 10 a.m.

Thursday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; board meeting, 5 p.m.

Friday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; poker, noon; bridge, 1 p.m.; Beading Hearts, 1 p.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of May 11 -- May 15. Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served from 4-5:30 p.m.

Monday -- Dixieland shortcake, black-eyed peas, garden salad, fat-free creamy Italian dressing, banana, prize drawing at 4:40 p.m.;

Tuesday -- baked liver and onions, mexicorn, tomatoes vinaigrette, mashed potatoes, whole wheat bread, apple butter, sliced peaches;

Wednesday -- spinach lasagna, garlic bread, vegetable-beef soup, salad bar, cottage cheese and fruit;

Thursday -- Diabetic friendly menu: chicken and rice casserole, broccoli, salad bar, country peach tart;

Friday -- lemon-baked fish, parsley-buttered new potatoes, seasoned zucchini, Waldorf salad, whole wheat roll, apple butter, cantaloupe chunks.
