World Series of Poker no-limit Texas hold'em satellite tournaments will be played at the new Club MVC in the Mountain View Casino in Pahrump.

The qualifiers will start Saturday, with registration already underway at Club MVC. The buy-in is $70, with the top two finishers in each qualifier advancing to the final table. See the schedule below.

The final round for one series of qualifiers is May 30, with the winner earning a paid seat in a $1,500 tournament -- Event 24 at the 2009 WSOP, to be played at the Rio All-Suites Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

Each qualifier can have up to 20 players. Awards for first through fourth places will be presented and all places in the finals will be rewarded.

The payout schedule depends on participation. While all tournament details have yet to be determined, each player reportedly will start with $5,000 in chips, with the blinds to begin at $25-$50.

Club MVC opened last weekend. The room has two 10-seat computerized tables.

The first qualifier is Saturday at 3 p.m.); subsequent tournaments are May 14 (7 p.m.), May 19 (2 p.m.), May 21 (5 p.m.), May 23 (11 a.m.) The ladies final will be at 7 p.m. May 27, with the winner qualifying for the WSOP.
