Doeller -- Bakke

The parents of Kelli M. Doeller want to share the delightful news of her engagement to Roger S. Bakke.

The couple met through Intervarsity at UNLV over four years ago and became friends before falling in love.

Roger proposed to Kelli in San Luis Obispo, Calif., at sunset on the beach.

Kelli was born Feb. 11, 1986, in Henderson, to Michael and Connie Doeller.

After graduating from PVHS in 2004, she returned to Las Vegas to attend UNLV where she is currently a senior in environmental studies.

Roger was born Sept. 28, 1980, in Las Vegas, to Samuel and Deborah Bakke.

He graduated from UNLV with a B.S. in secondary education.

After graduating college, Roger was on staff with Intervarsity at Cal-Poly University for two years before moving back to Las Vegas to become employed as a history teacher with the Clark County School District.

The wedding is set for July 18, 2009, at Mountain Falls Golf Course with Kelli and Roger's pastor, Kevin Scott, of The Stream Church in Las Vegas, officiating.
