Nye County commissioners will meet in a special budget workshop at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Bob Ruud Community Center.

Commissioners are preparing the budget for the start of the 2009-2010 fiscal year which begins July 1. The economic slowdown has led to some discussions recently about ways to cut the budget.
