LAS VEGAS -- Connor Morris shot a 7-over-par 79 at Canyon Gate to help Bishop Gorman win a Sunset Region Southwest League Class 4-A boys golf match, at Canyon Gate, on Monday.

It was the first Southwest match of the 2009 season.

Pahrump Valley had 471 for fifth place among the seven teams competing.

Gorman's Gaels, who also got an 83 from Nick Sikorski, had a team score of 430. Bonanza (433) was second and Sierra Vista (457) third. Minsoo Kim shot 83 to lead Bonanza.
