A special Nye County Commission teleconference is scheduled at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Emergency Services Building, 1510 Siri Lane, to hear the audit report for the 2007-08 fiscal year presented by accountant Dan McArthur.

The only other item on the agenda is a contract up for approval with the U.S. Department of Energy for law enforcement services at the Nevada Test Site.

The 2007-08 fiscal year ended last June 30. While they review last years numbers, county commissioners are anxious about budget projections for this fiscal year in light of the sagging economy.

The presentation is expected to include information on a special audit requested of the Nye County Public Works Department.
