Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of March 23 -- March 27:

Menu -- soup and salad bar, 2 percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday -- fried chicken, mashed potatoes, mixed veggies, fruit cup;

Tuesday -- spaghetti with meatballs, green beans, chocolate pudding;

Wednesday -- creamy chicken over rice, corn, spiced apples;

Thursday -- franks and beans, Sicilian vegetables, brownies;

Friday -- baked tilapia, brown rice, green beans, cake.

Activities

Monday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; poker club, noon; beading club, 12:30 p.m.; hair cuts, 9 a.m.

Tuesday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; poker, noon; craft class, 1 p.m.; bridge class, 1 p.m.; Shadow Mountain Players, 7 p.m.

Wednesday -- cloggers, 9 a.m.; pinochle, 1 p.m.; Walmart shopping, 9:30 a.m.; painting class, 10 a.m.; Shadow Mountain Players, 7 p.m.; Nevada Legal Aid, 10 a.m.

Thursday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; tax service, 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m.; ballroom dancing, 1:30-3:30 p.m.

Friday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; poker, noon; bridge, 1 p.m.; Beading Hearts, 1 p.m.; tax service, 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of March 23 -- March 27. Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served from 4-5:30 p.m.

Monday -- salmon, broccoli, rice, potato chowder, salad bar, brownie;

Tuesday -- Diabetic friendly menu: stuffed pork tenderloin, spinach, salad bar, mocha cappuccino, ice cream pie;

Wednesday -- garden chili, cheesy toast, salad bar, apple crisp;

Thursday -- beef stir-fry, steamed white rice, beet salad, 100 percent wheat bread, low-sodium margarine, mandarin oranges;

Friday -- Shake-n-bake chicken, oven fries, broccoli, coleslaw, chocolate chip cookie.
