Farmers Cup

The Farmers Cup Adult-Junior Golf Series will be played June 10, July 12 and Aug. 9, instead of in the spring.

Robert Worden, the series director, said information on the event can be found by e-mailing him at rworden@farmersagent.com, or by calling 1-775-910-9624.

The tournament calls for an adult and a junior player to form a team for medal play. Players 6-8 and 9-11 will play nine-hole matches, while players 12-14 and 15-18 will compete in 18-hole rounds.

The costs are $20 for all junior players; $25 for adults playing with a 6-8 or 9-11 golfer and $35 for adults playing in an 18-hole match.

Pre-registration will be required before each match, with the deadlines June 14 for the first round, July 12 for the second, and Aug. 9 for the finale. All matches will be played at Mountain Falls.

First-place medals will be awarded in each division. First-, second- and third-place teams in each age division will receive medals.
