Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of March 16 -- March 20:

Menu -- soup and salad bar, 2 percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday -- sweet and sour chicken, brown rice, steamed veggies, applesauce;

Tuesday -- corned beef and cabbage, mixed veggies, Irish cake;

Wednesday -- chicken pot pie, buttered corn, peach crisp;

Thursday -- Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes, green beans, brownies;

Friday -- battered cod, baked potato, peas and carrots, cinnamon apples.

Activities

Monday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; poker club, noon; beading club, 12:30 p.m.

Tuesday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; poker, noon; craft class, 1 p.m.; bridge class, 1 p.m.; Shadow Mountain Players, 7 p.m.

Wednesday -- cloggers, 9 a.m.; pinochle, 1 p.m.; Walmart shopping, 9:30 a.m.; painting class, 10 a.m.; Shadow Mountain Players, 7 p.m.

Thursday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; tax service, 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m.; ballroom dancing, 1:30-3:30 p.m.

Friday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; poker, noon; bridge, 1 p.m.; Beading Hearts, 1 p.m.; tax service, 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of March 16 -- March 20. Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served from 4-5:30 p.m.

Monday -- Diabetic friendly menu: turkey enchiladas, corn, salsa and sour cream, salad bar, apricots;

Tuesday -- corned beef and cabbage, red potatoes and carrots, dinner rolls, green Jell-O with mixed fruit;

Wednesday -- spinach lasagna, garlic bread, apricots, salad bar, birthdays;

Thursday -- honey-mustard chicken, baked beans, mixed veggies, potato salad, Jell-O with fruit;

Friday -- Swiss steak, baked potato with shredded colby and jack cheeses, fat-free sour cream with chives, herbed vegetable medley, 100 percent whole wheat bread, peach butter, apple.
