GOOD / PVT Instructor Karen Reese stands near a quilted wall hanging, appliquéd with felines and vines, as she demonstrated various techniques to create iron-on fusible appliqués to a gathering of quilters at the recent Fiber Arts Show, sponsored by Pahrump Arts Council. There were many opportunities for quilters and sewers to exchange ideas during the three-day event. Card making, taught by Sue Heron, was another popular class held at the Bob Ruud Community Center.
