Makena Meali'i Kaleiokalani Baptista

Makena Meali'i Kaleiokalani Baptista was born Feb. 24, 2009, to former Pahrump resident Tyna Baptista and her husband Daniel Baptista III who now reside in Las Vegas. The child was born at Sunrise Hospital.

Makena came into the world at 7:36 a.m., weighed 7 lbs., 5 oz., and was 18 inches in length.

The maternal grandparents are Daniel Jr. and Bebe of Las Vegas.

The proud maternal grandparents are Michael and Kristal Kaahea of Pahrump.

Makena joins her one-year-old brother Makoa at home.

Aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends are proud to call "Ohana!"

Evan Paul Westfall

Evan Paul Westfall was born Feb. 20, 2009, to Sarah and Glen Westfall at Balboa Naval Medical Center in San Diego, Calif.

Evan came into the world at 3:32 a.m., weighed 8 lbs., 10 oz. and was 22 inches in length.

The child's paternal grandparents are Linda Westfall of Pahrmp and Michael Westfall of Nipomo, Calif., and great-grandfather, Paul Squillante of Pahrump.

His maternal grandparents are Sam and Sandy Musselman of Pahrump and great-grandparents Alice Boni of Pahrump and Dan and Sandy Musselman of Sparks.
