Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of March 9 -- March 13:

Menu -- soup and salad bar, 2 percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday -- herb-baked chicken, baked potato, herb veggies, vanilla pudding;

Tuesday -- biscuits and gravy, sausage links, southern potatoes, fruit cup;

Wednesday -- barbecued pulled pork sandwiches, corn, brownies;

Thursday -- vegetarian lasagna, Sicilian veggies, pear crisp;

Friday -- coconut shrimp (tails removed), baked potato, mixed veggies, cake.

Activities

Monday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; poker club, noon; beading club, 12:30 p.m.; hair cuts, 9 a.m.

Tuesday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; poker, noon; craft class, 1 p.m.; bridge class, 1 p.m.; Shadow Mountain Players, 7 p.m.

Wednesday -- cloggers, 9 a.m.; pinochle, 1 p.m.; Walmart shopping, 9:30 a.m.; painting class, 10 a.m.; Shadow Mountain Players, 7 p.m.

Thursday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; tax service, 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m.; ballroom dancing, 1:30-3:30 p.m.; board meeting, 5 p.m.

Friday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; poker, noon; bridge, 1 p.m.; Beading Hearts, 1 p.m.; tax service, 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of March 9 -- March 13. Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served from 4-5:30 p.m.

Monday -- Dixieland shortcake, black-eyed peas, garden salad, fat-free creamy Italian dressing, banana. Prize drawing at 4:30 p.m.

Tuesday -- beef stroganoff, broccoli, layered salad, sugar cookie;

Wednesday -- chicken and vegetable stir-fry, egg rolls, egg drop soup, salad bar, Jell-O with fruit;

Thursday -- Diabetic friendly menu: country cabbage rolls, baby carrots, whole wheat dinner rolls, salad bar, baked rice pudding;

Friday -- baked ziti with four cheeses, garlic bread, zucchini, salad bar, brownies.
