Joyce Marie Dobson

Joyce Marie Dobson, 56, formerly of Pahrump, died June 13, 2009.

She was a nail technician and waitress here for nine years.

She was of the Christian faith.

She is survived by daughter April (Todd) Compton of Canton, Ga.; son Michael Zelonis of Reno; brothers James (Nanette) Seay of Pahrump and Robert (Judy) Seay of Louisiana; sister Jeanette (Gary) Marshall of Pahrump; grandchildren Ashly and Kyle Clark and Courtney, Jessica and Britany Compton, all of Canton, and Nathan Wabble of Pahrump, and aunt Socorro (Connie) Seay of Pahrump.

She was cremated and services were held June 16 in Canton. (06/13/2009)

Yvonne Anthony

Yvonne "Bonnie" Anthony lost her very short battle with lung cancer June 21, 2009.

Bonnie is remembered for her outgoing and very lively personality.

She contributed to the Fallon community by volunteering at a thrift store and the local library for the past two years.

She is most often remembered in the Pahrump community for her work at Bookworm Haven and when she managed EZ Equipment Rentals.

Bonnie loved to read and her passion for books was evident in her contributions to the Fallon library and at Bookworm Haven in Pahrump.

She leaves behind her loving husband of 24 years, Adelbert "Tony" Anthony; two children, Troy and Tina Highlen; an older brother, Duane Janikula; two younger sisters, Renee Perry and Terry Reavis; two granddaughters, Alexys Reynoso and Sara Highlen and many other loved ones and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m., June 26 at Lee Funeral Home. (06/21/2009)
