The wine tasting and food pairing scheduled for Sunday at 3 p.m. has been canceled.

Jeffrey Rathjen, the operations manager for the Pahrump Nugget said, "We're going to postpone these events until September.

"It's getting hot, people are going on extended vacations and although these events are a lot of fun for both us (Nugget) and the wine lovers, we are going to wait until fall and bring them back -- bigger and better."
