Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of June 22 -- June 26:

Menu -- soup and salad bar, 2 percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday -- chili-cheese baked potato, mixed veggies, applesauce;

Tuesday -- chicken enchiladas, Spanish rice, mexicorn, banana cream custard;

Wednesday -- pork chops, baked potatoes, buttered corn, pineapple upside down cake;

Thursday -- chicken Parmesan, Sicilian vegetables, garlic bread, brownies;

Friday -- tuna melt sandwiches, tater tots, steamed cauliflower, apple cobbler.

Activities

Monday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; poker club, noon; beading club, 12:30 p.m.

Tuesday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; poker, noon; craft class, 1 p.m.; bridge class, 1 p.m.; Shadow Mountain Players, 7 p.m.

Wednesday -- cloggers, 9 a.m.; pinochle, 1 p.m.; Walmart shopping, 9:30 a.m.; Nevada Legal Aid, 10 a.m.

Thursday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.

Friday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; poker, noon; bridge, 1 p.m.; Beading Hearts, 1 p.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of June 22 -- June 26. Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served from 4-5:30 p.m.

Monday -- baked chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, peas and carrots, salad bar, cupcake;

Tuesday -- stuffed peppers, spinach spaghetti, mixed greens salad, low-fat, low-sodium Italian dressing, garlic bread, nectarine;

Wednesday -- Diabetic friendly menu: turkey and bean tostadas, Monterey jack cheese, seasoned zucchini, low-fat sour cream, banana cream pie;

Thursday -- sweet and sour vegetables, egg rolls, oriental salad supreme, egg drop soup, ginger spice roll;

Friday -- tuna patties, rice pilaf, broccoli, mixed fruit, salad bar.
