The Pahrump-based Babe Ruth/Cal Ripken baseball program is going to conduct fundraisers for teams headed for post-season playoffs.

Saturday, from 8 a.m. to whenever, the Junior All-Stars will have two functions in two places.

There will be a car wash at Smith's Food & Drug Store and there is going to be a yard sale in the Nugget parking lot.

The 12-and-Under All-Star tournament is July 3-4-5-6 at North Valleys Regional Park in Reno. Pahrump will play Sun Valley at 5 p.m. July 3 in its opener.

Other teams entered are Fallon, Silver State and Sparks Spanish Springs.
