Henderson Coronado and Pahrump Valley, both on the edge of competing for a playoff berth, clash in a Silver Division American Legion baseball doubleheader today at Honeysuckle Park.

Both teams are 3-3 in division games as they prepare to play, starting at 5 p.m.

Pahrump Valley split a doubleheader with homestanding Las Vegas Faith Lutheran Saturday, winning 10-9 after falling 9-5 at Koerwitz Field.

Coronado played Centennial Monday in a single game, after bowing 12-2 to Sierra Vista Friday.

Pahrump Valley will have an extended period of days off, not returning to action until June 27, when Eldorado hosts manager Brandon Bietar's team in a twin bill starting at 5 p.m.

Pahrump's next home games will be June 30, when Desert Oasis is at Honeysuckle Park for a doubleheader starting at 5 p.m.

Against Faith, Pahrump trailed 8-1 in the nightcap before fighting back to win on key hits by Joey McCaw and Tyler Lepley. Cody Nielsen and Ethan Wald also contributed to the victory.
