Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of June 15 -- June 19:

Menu -- soup and salad bar, 2 percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday -- sweet and sour chicken, brown rice, peas and carrots, white cake;

Tuesday -- ham and cheese omelettes, potato cubes, peas and carrots, applesauce;

Wednesday -- stuffed bell peppers, green beans, chocolate pudding;

Thursday -- cranberry turkey sandwiches, mixed veggies, fruit cup;

Friday -- barbecued spareribs, baked potato, corn, chocolate cake. Happy Father's Day.

Activities

Monday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; poker club, noon; beading club, 12:30 p.m.; hair cuts, 9 a.m.

Tuesday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; poker, noon; craft class, 1 p.m.; bridge class, 1 p.m.; Shadow Mountain Players, 7 p.m.

Wednesday -- cloggers, 9 a.m.; pinochle, 1 p.m.; Walmart shopping, 9:30 a.m.; blood pressure check, 10:45 to 11:15 a.m.

Thursday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.

Friday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; poker, noon; bridge, 1 p.m.; Beading Hearts, 1 p.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of June 15 -- June 19. Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served from 4-5:30 p.m.

Monday -- cheese enchiladas, salsa and sour cream, Spanish rice, hamburger soup, salad bar, peach cup;

Tuesday -- Diabetic friendly menu: lemon and herb chicken, zucchini, scalloped potatoes, salad bar, applesauce;

Wednesday -- baked liver and onions, mexicorn, tomato vinaigrette, mashed potatoes, whole wheat bread, apple butter, sliced peaches, birthday cake;

Thursday -- onion soup, spinach quiche, colorful salad, low-fat, low-sodium French dressing, seven-grain bread, apple butter, fat-free peach yogurt, sliced peaches, tango shake;

Friday -- Father's Day dinner: fish in cilantro sauce, Spanish rice, refried beans, mixed greens salad, fat-free Catalina dressing, corn tortilla, mango orange cup.
