Free swim nights in June

NyE Communities Coalition and St. Martin's in the Desert Episcopal Church will sponsor free swim evenings at the community pool.

Family Nights -- June 15 and 22, 6-9 p.m.

Teen Nights -- June 19 and 26, 6-9 p.m., ages 13-18.

Summer Hoedown

The Knights of Columbus will host a Summer Hoedown 6-9 p.m., June 20 at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, 781 E. Gamebird Road.

There will be hot dogs and hamburgers, baked beans, macaroni and cheese, punch and coffee. Beer and wine will be available for purchase.

Live entertainment will be provided by Desert Knights.

The cost is $10 per person and tickets will be on sale at Mass or at the door.

Singles Club schedule

The Pahrump Singles Friendship Club will meet at the following times and places during the month of June.

June 27 -- meeting and potluck dinner, University of Nevada Extension office, 5 p.m.

Threadzfest

The annual Threadzfest celebration sponsored by Ace Hardware, will be noon to 10 p.m., June 27 in Honeysuckle Park.

There will be a day of live band entertainment and action sports com-petitions.
