Poker column to be regular feature

Goins results
The 11th annual Gene Goins Memorial, sanctioned by the Pahrump Valley Junior Golf Association and played Monday and Tuesday at the par 59 (60 girls), 3,600-yard Lakeview Executive course: (7- to 11-year-old boys and girls played two nine-hole rounds; 12-18s played two 18-hole rounds).

Grazing areas to be reopened
At the June meeting of the Nevada Board of Wildlife Commissioners, the Nevada Department of Wildlife, based on field observations, indicated support for opening several areas to grazing that had previously been closed as a result of wildfire.
