James Malcom Colbert

James Malcom Colbert, 45, passed away suddenly, from a heart attack, in Pahrump.

He was born Sept. 1, 1963, in Leesburg, Va., and was a resident of Pahrump since 2003.

Jim was a photographer and a gardener and took great pride in his work. He was the president of the Pahrump Singles Friendship Club.

He is survived by sisters Carol and Kasey of Pahrump and Karen of Falmouth, Mass., and brothers Tom of Newton, Mass and Mark and Ed of Orlando, Fla.

A celebration of his life will be held privately. (01/2009)

Clotilde Delgado

Clotilde Delgado, 78, passed away Jan. 25, 2009, in Pahrump.

She was born June 2, 1930, in Puerto Rico and was a resident of Pahrump for 12 years, having come from California.

She was a piece worker for an electronics company and of the Christian faith.

Her husband Ismael Delgado of Pahrump; sons Ariel (Elizabeth) Delgado of Texas and Daniel (Paulette) Delgado of California; daughter Michelle Delgado; brother Mike Martinez; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild survive her.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Jan. 30 at Pahrump Family Mortuary. Burial will follow the service. (01/25/2009)

Barbara Jean Lansberry

Barbara Jean Lansberry, 44, passed away Jan. 19, 2009, in Las Vegas.

She was born Jan. 4, 1965, in Rochester, N.Y., and was a resident of Pahrump for 17 years.

She was a travel agent for Expedia.com.

Her brothers Lynn, James and Russell Lansberry and sister Peggy Cole survive her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Ruth E. Lansberry.

The arrangements are being handled by Bennett Funeral Home in Clearfield, Pa. (01/19/2009)

Irene D. Hart

Irene D. Hart, 94, passed away Jan. 22, 2009, in Pahrump.

She was born Oct. 11, 1914, in Washington, and was a resident of Pahrump for three years, having come from Oregon.

She had a 12-year education, was employed as a waitress and was of the Christian faith.

Her son Jerry (Patricia) Hart of Pahrump, three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren survive her.

She was preceded in death by one great-great-grandchild.

Services will be private. (01/22/2009)

Richard Sullivan

Richard "Chuck" Sullivan, 79, passed away Jan. 26, 2009, at Grace Livingston Center in Oklahoma City, Okla.

He was born Feb. 4, 1929, in Missouri and was a resident of Pahrump for 10 years, having come from Oklahoma.

Most people didn't know that he was a Blackfoot Indian.

Chuck enjoyed dancing at the StageStop Lounge and Casino on Fridays and Saturdays, target shooting with Wes and in his younger days, training race horses. And, of course, sipping his red wine.

Chuck has a host of friends who will miss him dearly; Wes and Tynell Petticrew, Dean West, Ronnie Carson, Brenda Myers, all of the Spencer clan, Bob Haymond, Maria Anderson, Terri Campbell, Rhonda White, Big Chuck, Louann Horitz, Lynn Stepke and many, many others.

There will be no services. Instead, a celebration of his life will be announced at a later date. (01/26/2009
