There are several choices for celebrating Valentine's Day with someone special. Below are establishments offering special menus. Make reservations now, as some of them are almost booked to capacity.

Symphony's Restaurant at the Winery is offering a five-course wine dinner. On the menu is a choice of six entrees; Surf and turf is $75, Morrocan lemon chicken is $60, grilled swordfish is $65, Jack Daniels marinated 16-ounce New York strip is $65, two cold-water lobster tails is $75 and encrusted Alaskan halibut with mango-citrus sauce is $65. Each dinner comes with an appetizer, soup, salad, dessert and dinner will be served with champagne. They will also give each couple a complimentary bottle of wine with a personalized label. The Patio Café will offer another wine tasting and dinner on Feb. 13 instead of Valentine's Day. Dinner choices will be either roasted, stuffed Cornish game hen or a baked, stuffed pork chop. Each dinner comes with a wilted spinach salad, cream of asparagus soup and a side dish. Desert will be tiramisu. During the evening diners will taste three white wines, three red wines and a sherry with dessert. Tickets are $30 per person. Call 537-0222 for more information.

Mountain Falls Grill Room is offering their regular menu and three specials. The stuffed filet mignon is $24.95; the Tuscany chicken will be $14.95 and the seafood fountain (lobster, shrimp and scallops over angel hair pasta) will be $19.95. For reservations, call 537-6553, ext. 2 and then 2.

Wulfy's will offer Valentine packages. The luxury package includes a one-night stay in a luxury suite, champagne, steak and lobster dinner with dessert for two at $139.99. The standard package is a one-night stay in a standard room with champagne, steak and lobster, and dessert for $99.99, and the dinner package is the lobster dinner with dessert and champagne for two for $49.99. From 4 p.m. until 9 p.m., Mountain View Casino will offer New York steak, choice of potato, vegetable and house wine for two, plus a rose for your sweetheart for $15.

To celebrate, the Pahrump Nugget is offering free photos of couples in a romantic setting at the Stagebar Lounge and there will be free appetizers for all players from 6 to 8 p.m. Call 751-6500, after 5 p.m. to check on the specials in the Stockman's Steakhouse.
