Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of Feb. 2 -- Feb. 6:

Menu -- soup and salad bar, 2 percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday -- creamy chicken over rice, corn, spiced peaches;

Tuesday -- Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes, buttered corn, chocolate cake;

Wednesday -- beans and franks, corn, chocolate pudding;

Thursday -- chicken alfredo over fettuccine, mixed veggies, cake;

Friday -- baked meatloaf, mashed potatoes, green beans, applesauce.

Activities

Monday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; poker club, noon; beading club, 12:30 p.m.

Tuesday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; poker, noon; craft class, 1 p.m.; bridge class, 1 p.m.; Shadow Mountain Players, 7 p.m.

Wednesday -- cloggers, 9 a.m.; pinochle, 1 p.m.; Walmart shopping, 9:30 a.m.; painting class, 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.; Shadow Mountain Players, 7 p.m.

Thursday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; tax service, 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Friday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; poker, noon; bridge, 1 p.m.; Beading Hearts, 1 p.m.; tax service, 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Feb. 2 -- Feb. 6. Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served from 4-5:30 p.m.

Monday -- chicken tamale pie, mustard greens, Spanish rice, pears, cupcake;

Tuesday -- baked liver and onions, mexicorn, tomatoes vinaigrette, mashed potatoes, whole wheat bread, apple butter, sliced peaches;

Wednesday -- Diabetic Menu: cinnamon pork loin with roasted apples and onions, scalloped potatoes, broccoli, cottage cheese and apricots;

Thursday -- eggplant Parmesan, spinach spaghetti, carrot and raisin salad, garlic bread, strawberry-banana yogurt;

Friday -- hot turkey sandwich, mashed potatoes, gravy, mixed veggies, salad bar, chocolate chip cookie.
