Firefighter charged with arson
Roy and Olesya Shawgo of Pahrump were arrested Jan. 22, charged with three counts each for allegedly setting fire to their home at 951 W. Lupin St. this past fall.

DA disputes victory claim

DEATH VALLEY, Calif. -- Sarah L. Craighead, a 30-year veteran of the National Park Service has been named superintendent of Death Valley National Park, it was announced today by NPS Regional Director Jonathan B. Jarvis.
