About 20 people enjoyed a four course meal with a choice of lamb kabobs or shrimp scampi as the main dish and, of course, samplings of various wines from Spain to California and an explanation of each one. Pat Parris, who also attended the event, said she enjoyed the format where wines are brought to the table along with a meal, instead of wine tastings she attended at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where patrons have to walk to each of the tables to sample the varietals.
