Findlay Prep, one of the top high school boys basketball teams in the United States, went 3-0 on a road trip to the Flyin' to the Hoop series, contested in Kettering, Ohio, last weekend.

The Henderson, Nevada-based Pilots advanced their record to 20-0 with victories against Huber Heights (Ohio) Wayne 66-62, Garfield Heights (Ohio) 60-50 and Bedford, (Ohio) W.Va., 91-22.

Wayne, located in a northeast suburb of Dayton, was ranked No. 3 in an area Division I (big school) poll. The Warriors (7-3) trailed 61-60 with 18.6 seconds to go.

Findlay's Rasham Suarez scored off a steal and Victor Rudd dunked at the buzzer to protect the Pilots' lead.

The tournament was played at the Trent Arena, a 3,500-seat facility located on a Kettering high school campus. More than 15,000 fans paid their way into the arena to watch 16 games over three days.

A team from San Diego was also entered as were several Ohio squads.
