Nevada JobConnect needs a new home in Pahrump after Nye County commissioners earlier this month voted to terminate their lease of the manufactured building in the Calvada Eye effective March 31.

The president had his inauguration yesterday. The Pahrump Valley Chamber of Commerce had its annual inauguration dinner Friday night with a packed crowd at the Pahrump Nugget Hotel and Casino.


Suspect claims he's God, or FBI agent
Russell Troy Winterton, claiming alternately to be God and an FBI agent, was arrested Tuesday, charged with attempted robbery, impersonation of an officer and resisting arrest.

Hafen honored as a legend
Tim Hafen, a resident of Pahrump since July 1951, was honored as a legend in the community at the Pahrump Valley Chamber of Commerce inauguration dinner at the Pahrump Nugget Casino Friday night.
