The Under 16 and Under 18 co-ed spring season in AYSO Region 808 registration has begun.

Players born between Aug. 1, 1990 and July 31, 1994, are eligible to register. A copy of a birth certificate and the registration fee of $85 should be presented by each individual who registers.

The cost is $80 for each additional child in the same family.

Practice is tentatively scheduled to start Feb. 7. Games will be played between Feb. 28 and May 16.

Youth baseball

Pahrump Valley youth baseball registration will run every Wednesday and Saturday throughout the month, at Honeysuckle Park.

The times are 5 to 7 p.m. each Wednesday (today, 21, 28) and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each Saturday (Jan. 17, 24, 31).

Age groups are 4 to 18, with May 1 the age determination date.

T-Ball and Rookies will be in the 4-8 age groups; Minor, Major, Junior, Senior in the 9-18 age groups.

The cost will be $65 for 4-8s and $95 for 9 to 18s. Payment arrangements will be available.

Anyone planning to be a manager or coach should go to the sign-ups and pick up information packets. That information should be returned as soon as possible.
