Tournaments

Nancy Nobrzynski had 840 to win a Pahrump Valley 500 Club 3-6-9 tournament last weekend at the Nugget Bowling Center.

Larry Fernandez had 875 to take the groupies title. Margaret Long was the 50-50 winner.

The next tournament is Feb. 14. Entry forms will be available next week at the center or on the Web site.

Fundraisers

Nevada CASA is holding a bowlathon Feb. 15 at the Nugget Bowling Center, starting at 10 a.m.

Proceeds will support abused and neglected children.

The cost is $10 for shoes and three games of bowling. All ages are welcome. Prizes will be awarded to the top three men and women finishers.

* A fundraiser for breast cancer awareness will be held Feb. 28 at the Southpoint Bowling Center in Las Vegas.

The event, which benefits USBC Bowl for the Cure and the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, will start at 3 p.m.
