Open letter to Gov. Gibbons

Dear Gov. Gibbons,

Here in Nye County we have an opening for an appointee for District 5 commissioner.

I have been a resident of Pahrump for 23 years and highly recommend Patricia Cox.

She was a Nye County commissioner in the past and did a very good job. A lot of us were saddened when she decided not to run for re-election.

I believe she is disgusted, as a lot of us are, with present-day county politics and wants to do what's right for Nye County.
