The Pahrump Town Board is resuming its regularly scheduled bi-monthly meetings on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month, beginning at 7 p.m., Jan. 13.

At that time, the board's agenda includes setting dates for special workshops and budget meetings and will review and possibly make changes on all town advisory boards. Committee policies and bylaws will also be discussed.

A closed session is scheduled to give board members the opportunity to meet with the town attorney regarding any potential or existing litigation. The general meeting will then be re-opened to publicly discuss items discussed in the closed session.

Such items may include a first reading of an amendment to Pahrump Town Ordinance 43, concerning the collection, transportation, deposit and disposal of solid waste and recyclable items.

The public is encouraged to attend board meetings and take part in discussions of agenda items.
