Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of Jan. 12 to Jan. 16:

Menu -- soup and salad bar, 2 percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday -- chicken Parmesan, Italian green beans, chocolate mousse;

Tuesday -- Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes, corn, fruit cake;

Wednesday -- sweet and sour chicken, steamed rice, mixed veggies, fruit cup;

Thursday -- Swedish meatballs, green beans, apple crisp;

Friday -- Spanish omelettes, southwestern potatoes, sausage links, pineapple cake.

Activities

Monday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; poker club, noon; beading club, 12:30 p.m.; hair cuts, 9 a.m.

Tuesday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; poker, noon; craft class, 1 p.m.; bridge class, 1 p.m.; Humana, 9:30 a.m.

Wednesday -- cloggers, 9 a.m.; pinochle, 1 p.m.; Walmart shopping, 9:30 a.m.; painting class, 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Thursday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.

Friday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; poker, noon; bridge, 1 p.m.; Beading Hearts, 1 p.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Jan. 5 to Jan. 9. Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served from 4-5:30 p.m.

Monday -- Diabetic menu: light creamed turkey and baked potato, brussels sprouts, salad bar, banana snack cake, door prize drawing at 4:30 p.m.;

Tuesday -- chicken noodle soup, French bread pizza, broccoli salad, rainbow sherbet, oatmeal date bar, pink lemonade;

Wednesday -- baked liver and onions, mexicorn, tomatoes vinaigrette, mashed potatoes, whole wheat bread, apple butter, birthday cake;

Thursday -- shake-n-bake chicken, baby carrots, oven fries, salad bar, peaches;

Friday -- lemon-herb fish, rice pilaf, mixed vegetables, whole wheat roll, salad bar, brownie.
