DON McDERMOTT / PVT Auto racing returned to Death Valley Raceway this past weekend, with the first two rounds in the Best of the Best Wild West Series, featuring the IMCA modifieds. The next two features will be Jan. 24-25 on the one-third mile dirt oval. The modifieds drove wheel-to-wheel -- sometimes even closer -- creating havoc.
